I am not a Lawyer, … but I can read.
I was never taught about or even encouraged to read the Constitution in high school. I decided to address this gap in my education in 2017. In May, July, and December of that year, I read the Constitution and wrote 3 articles about what I had learned. I presented the Constitution and each Amendment followed by what I believed each meant. I was trying to translate the sometimes archaic language into our current version of English and to express my less than humble opinion of what that language meant in the context of our 21st Century country.
